Let the light

I have come across many people who have been told they can not convert their attic as n 't enough height. It is true that the height is often a problem because the permitted development rules will not allow you to go higher than the "peak" of the existing roof.
Nevertheless, there are many ways to approach the problem and yet to come with a viable solution, even if it is not the solution that the owner originally imagined. In this example, a mezzanine level has been introduced. There is obviously not enough height for a separate bedroom, but a new dimension was given to the existing space with a fun and useful extra space.
